Recruitment criteria
The Recruitment Team chooses the candidates for their intellectual rigour, their logic and analytical mind. A specific attention also goes to communication skills and team integration. Of course, the motivation to evolve in the IT banking industry is important. Similarly, our selection criteria require a fluency in French or Dutch, including good English.
Training program
Sopra Banking Software has its own training center: the Sopra Banking University. Its mission is to provide high-quality trainings to all our employees and customers. All new employees follow a three-week initial training before joining a team. A standard training program is organized for all our junior profiles during the first three years within the company. Therefore, on top of trainings related to our products, our employees have access to a broad catalogue of hard and soft skills courses, including financial markets, IT, job specific trainings, management, languages…
Recruitment procedure
You apply through our Recruitment website (http://careers.soprabanking.com). If we believe you have the right profile, we call you for an introductory phone screening. If positive, you are invited for an interview (the selection procedure includes a.o. an algorithmic test). If both parties are convinced, we agree upon a start date depending of the initial training dates.
